I wanted to find a good shampoo bar to move away from plastic bottles. Unfortunately, the shampoo bars I found in stores had SLS. Before this bar, I had tried one other SLS-free shampoo bar and it left my hair really oily with a very waxy residue. My expectations for a shampoo bar were significantly reduced and I was just hoping for "close to as clean" as regular shampoo. This shampoo bar totally exceeded my expectations. My hair feels way softer after using this bar then it did after regular shampoo. And it smells great! I have ordered my second bar already.

I waited until I had used my first bar to review. Soo, I think the verdict is still out for me about shampoo bars. I was no stranger to using baking soda (mixed with a little shampoo), doing vinegar rinses and washing my hair every 2-3 days. I want to love shampoo bars, I really do. But I clearly need more time. The scent is amazing and the bar is very long lasting. I think I need a less moisturizing version as my hair didn't feel as clean as I would have liked. Lucky for me Aquarian Bath has lots of options so I can try again :) Ooo and fast shipping too!
