Lemonhead Shampoo bar with Lemon Vanilla and Aloe, Volumizing, 4.25 -5 oz

I like this shampoo bar but it smells like you’d expect an unscented bar to smell. There was absolutely no lemon smell at all and I was really looking forward to it. The description says that you don’t need to use conditioner with it but I’ve found otherwise. Without using conditioner and an acv rinse, I wouldn’t be able to get a brush through my hair. However, this bar lathers very well and I would definitely recommend it.

I love that I could order this packaged naked! I'm also very pleased with the lather and cleanliness of the soap. Being a curly girl I don't use sulfates and this cleans my hair great without weighing it down. It works well removing hard water residue as well (which is why I don't co-wash, that stuff builds up fast!). I'll definitely order again.

The quality of the soap is great, but unfortunately it just doesn't work for me. It makes my hair oily and thick in a gross way, and I think it aggravated my scalp eczema, too. I tried the neem one, too, and that didn't work well, either. This is not to say the product isn't good, it's just that it really didn't work for me, even after several washes.

This is my first time using a shampoo bar and I'm very happy with how it cleans and how my hair looks and smells-to me, there's no smell but it's allergy season now. I know it will last a long time, too, especiaaly since I shampoo just weekly. Thanks !!

Recently made the switch from plastic-bottled shampoo to these shampoo bars. Love the concept. Love the ethics. LOVE the product. I'm in my 60s, have thick, short hair. The shampoo bar leaves my hair and scalp clean, but not stripped. After shampooing my hair is soft, but not limp. It did take about a week (2 or 3 washings) to adjust, but now won't go back. I don't even need a conditioner! Have purchased quite a few to give as gifts, and haven't found a scent I don't like. The scents are nice, but subtle, and don't leave hair smelling very perfumed. I'm a FAN! The products arrive quickly and as expected. Thanks for doing a great job!

Love the way it smells - and it gets the job done! My hair definitely prefers this plus an apple cider vinegar rinse, over the shampoo I used for years.
