I bought this shampoo after doing the baking soda "no poo" method for about a year. After the first use, my scalp is nowhere near as flaky as it was with baking soda, and my hair feels much cleaner without feeling dry. My scalp isn't itchy at all, so that's a good sign! From the short interaction I had with Cory, I can tell that she really cares about her customers. Shipping was very quick as well.

It took a while for my hair to adjust. I have long straight brown hair, and this makes it feel so clean but kind of tangly. I might try a more conditioning one next time, but I used a vinegar rinse and that helped a ton!

I have long, thick, curly hair and have hard water and it takes very little of the product to clean my hair without stripping it. It smells great, too.

Making the switch from conventional shampoo to this I didn't really know what to expect, I have long thick straight hair, it's not overly processed but still needs moisture especially this time of year, I get oily and flakey due to the hot water. It lathers up quite nice, once it got into my hair it felt, odd. While wet the texture of my hair was a bit hard to brush but I blew dry and applied some argan oil on the tips and it was awesome, my hair didn't feel stripped of its natural oils it was definitely not limp and throughout the day my hair is so soft and clean smelly. I will still need some leave in conditioner for the tips given that my hair is so long. Can't wait to try other flavors!

This shampoo bar didn't work out so well. I bought it for my husband, and neither of us thought that it had a recognizable lemon (or vanilla) scent. Also, after use, his scalp became itchy and dry. (He's never had that problem in the past, and didn't use any other new products during the time that he tried this shampoo.) I did contact Cory to ask if anyone else had a problem with that, and she replied almost immediately, and said that she hadn't heard of anyone else having the same problem. I was impressed with the speed of her reply, and I did like the other two items that I purchased from her shop - the shampoo bar just wasn't a personal favorite!

I cannot get over how much I love this shampoo bar. I used to use the citrus bay rum one, and I admit I like this one much more. No conditioner needed!! There's a subtle but lasting scent. Thank you!
